The science and art of growing plants
The Oregon State University online horticulture degree covers contemporary real-world issues faced by professional horticulturists. The program includes labs, diagnostics, student-managed projects and field-based problem solving. You'll become skilled at finding and synthesizing information in order to deal with the novel situations you will face during your horticultural career.
This degree program is offered by OSU's Department of Horticulture and delivered online by OSU Ecampus. As part of the major, you'll learn the principles and practices associated with horticultural production and landscape management within the context of plant pathology, pest management, soil systems, ecology, business management and public policy. This knowledge can be applied in various horticulture career fields.
