B.S. in Public Policy – Online

Know how to make a difference

Become a leading member of the next generation of public policy professionals who can use research data to promote and sustain positive change by earning your Bachelor of Science in Public Policy (BSPP) online from Oregon State University.

Recent events in world politics have made people more aware of how public policy affects nearly every aspect of our daily lives, and this program is designed to meet the career aspirations and personal interests of students like you everywhere.

Broaden your learning through this interdisciplinary program

The BSPP draws from economics, political science and sociology to provide you the knowledge and experience to analyze and address relevant issues that shape today's public policy. An interdisciplinary program actively trains you to view the world and approach problem-solving through multiple lenses, giving you a nuanced and flexible approach to understanding and addressing the different angles of an issue. You will be learning from experienced and accomplished faculty across multiple programs who are committed to preparing graduates who can develop and implement innovative, evidence-based solutions focused on serving the public good.

Accelerated Master’s Platform for undergrad students

Get a jump-start on your Master or Executive Master of Public Policy degree while finishing your bachelor's in public policy as a part of Oregon State’s Accelerated Master’s Platform. The AMP will enable you to take graduate-level courses online as an undergraduate student and then apply those credits to both degrees.

You can apply to the AMP program after completing at least 105 credits in your bachelor’s program. If you’re accepted, you’ll matriculate into the master’s program immediately after graduation — and you can avoid paying the graduate school application fee. Undergraduate students enrolled in Ecampus graduate courses will pay the graduate tuition and fees rate.
