I joined Oregon State University Ecampus as an Instructional Design Specialist in 2018.  I am passionate about bringing education to life by creating learning experiences that are dynamic, engaging, experiential, and meaningful.  My prior experience in higher education has been varied, including serving as an Online Course Support Specialist at Western Oregon University, the Community Engagement Coordinator at Naropa University, and in Residence Life positions at Naropa University and Colorado Mountain College.  Co-instructing the Alternative Break course at Naropa has been one of the highlights of my career – I loved the reflection and community-based elements of this course.  I am always interested in discussing experiential learning, service-learning, equity, contemplative education, and interactive content.

I am currently completing my Masters of Science in Education: Information Technology degree from Western Oregon University with a graduate certificate in Instructional Design.  I received my Bachelors from Regis University in Peace and Justice Studies with a minor in Spanish.

While avoiding the never-ending laundry of family life, my hobbies include board games, hiking, soccer, ultimate, stand-up comedy and eating.
