Migration to Canvas

Canvas Faculty Migration Resources will help you prepare your newly migrated course to be taught in Canvas.
How do I get additional training to facilitate my course?
We offer Canvas Facilitator training which focuses on how to effectively facilitate a Canvas course. We will include a demonstration of key communication functions including messaging and feedback tools. We will also discuss ways to manage discussions in Canvas and important features to know about when grading exams and other assessments. Register here.
What do students need to know about Canvas?
- The URL to log in is canvas.oregonstate.edu. Log in with your ONID credentials.
- Students may want to check out the Canvas Student Tour for an overview of how Canvas works.
- Use the Canvas Student Guide as a reference.
- Click the Help link in the menu at the top of every Canvas page for access to 24/7 tech support.
