What does completing your degree mean to you? How do you feel it will improve your life and career?
Completing my degree gives me a sense of accomplishment and pride. Completion of my degree will give me more opportunities for career choices and advancement.

Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?
I chose to complete my degree through OSU's Ecampus because of the quality of education I would receive, programs of study offered and variety of classes available to online students. The ability to complete my degree entirely online was also crucial. This method of learning allowed me to continue to work and instantly apply the information I was acquiring in the "classroom." I had the flexibility to travel and work while completing my degree which added to the quality of my education. I was surprised to discover how connected I felt in this environment. Studying alongside students from aroung the world seemed daunting but connections were formed that added to the richness of my education.

Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?
Cindy Lehto stood out to me. I had several problems with a proctored exam and she resolved the problems quickly, allowing me to complete the exam, and later called to follow up. Impressed with this interaction, I continued to rely on Cindy to answer questions and offer advice in areas beyond her job title. She never redirected me but worked with me to promptly resolve the problem.

What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
The skills acquired while obtaining my degree allow me to view the world around me with a fresh and hopeful perspective. Having these skills represented by a degree from an outstanding university give me backing to enter a competitive workforce and achieve success.
