SED 576 – Mathematics Pedagogy and Technology II (4)

Continues to develop pedagogical content knowledge, skills, and dispositions for teaching diverse youth in grades 6-12 mathematics. Shifts from applying and synthesizing ideas in SED 574 to evaluating and justifying critical teaching and learning goals in SED 576. Interrogates how mathematics instruction has perpetuated educational injustices through course core readings. Continues to support creating and enacting ways that schooling and instruction can disrupt inequality using research-practice multi-media. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
