TRAL 530 – Outdoor Recreation Monitoring and Management (3)

Explores social and ecological impacts of recreation in protected areas, presents monitoring approaches to assess impacts, and evaluates alternative mitigation measures. Covers recreation ecology, visitor use management approaches, visitor experiences, and management of resources for recreation and other uses. Evaluates strategies to manage specific issues and applies course material to specific case studies. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course.
