I am currently partnering with Ecampus undergraduate students in the College of Business. As a Success Coach, I support students with individualized academic coaching and serve as a connector across departments. Students can partner with me to assist with first term transitions, time management strategies, study and test taking skills, school/life balance, and any other areas that may be impacting their academic success. I joined the OSU team in 2017, after most recently working in academics with the graduate School of Education at Loyola Marymount University.

I began my journey into higher education 8 years ago, as an academic advisor for both campus and online learners. My role included course planning, registration, and degree audits as well as veteran support resources and disability accommodations. However, it wasn’t until I began pursuing my own graduate degree that I truly grasped how difficult it was to balance a full time career with completing a degree online. This helped me to understand what my students were experiencing on a deeper level and be able to provide them with a more intentional level of support and guidance. I have immense respect for all students learning in this capacity and realize that they are often balancing multiple commitments. My goal is to set clear expectations, create meaningful relationships with my students, and to continuously advocate on their behalf. The highlight of this work for me has always been seeing a student complete their degree, whether it be on paper through the issuing of their diploma or physically walking across the stage at graduation. I believe that all students, regardless of background or experience, have the capability to achieve their goal of a quality education and find a career they are passionate about. I am grateful to be able to support students in this exciting and pivotal time in their lives!
