Staff Bio

I grew up on a farm in Belleview, a small town in central Florida. While attending Florida State University for my undergraduate degree, I became fascinated with advising after seeing the impact my advisor had on my experience in college. I started working in higher education in 2011, first in graduate admissions and later as an academic advisor. While advising online students, my role included course planning, registration and degree audits as well as veteran support resources and disability accommodations.

In 2017, I moved from Loyola Marymount University to join the Oregon State Ecampus student success team as a success coach. In 2019, I graduated with my M.S. Ed. from an online degree program. I now work as an instructional designer here on the Ecampus course development team.

Outside of work, my favorite things are hiking and camping with my family, practicing yoga, making macramé and gardening. More often than not, I’m sipping mulled wine and indulging in a marathon of “Outlander”!
