How is the benefit applied?
- Select your program from 100+ Oregon State online offerings.
- Apply to Oregon State as an Ecampus student.
- We recommend you apply at least nine weeks before your first term starts to make sure you're prepared and can receive necessary course materials.
- Choose Samaritan Health Services as your Ecampus Program Provider in the Employment section of the application to have your application fee waived.
- Once you've enrolled, submit a FAFSA and any additional documentation required to determine your financial aid eligibility.

Am I eligible for this program?
All Samaritan Health Services employees are eligible for this tuition benefit program.
When can I start?
Oregon State is on a quarter-based academic calendar, which means we offer classes online in fall, winter, spring and summer. Most bachelor’s programs start in any season.
Will my credits transfer?
Oregon State accepts credits from other institutionally accredited colleges or universities. Your previous coursework will be officially evaluated for transfer upon admission.
What sort of support will I receive?
As an OSU Ecampus student, you’ll have access to student success coaches, an academic advisor, career guidance, free online tutoring, library services and more. You’ll also work closely with OSU faculty and be part of a worldwide network of students.
Will I have to log in to my online classes at a certain day or time?
Ecampus classes are asynchronous, meaning you can access your classes anytime without specific sign-in times for live lectures.

What is FAFSA?
You must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid in order to apply for and have access to the largest source of financial aid to pay for college.
How do I apply to Oregon State?
Before applying, we suggest you speak with an Ecampus enrollment specialist to learn more about the university, financial aid, the application process and more. Call 800-667-1465, email us at ecampus@oregonstate.edu or chat live with our enrollment services team.
When can I apply this scholarship to my coursework?
The scholarship is effective for enrollment in future terms and will not be applied retroactively.
Which courses does the tuition benefit apply to?
The Samaritan Health Services OSU tuition benefit applies to all for-credit courses delivered online by Oregon State Ecampus.
When will my scholarship be applied to my student account?
Once your verification has been approved and you register for classes, the tuition scholarship will be applied to your student account after week 4 of each academic term.
What happens if I enroll in an Ecampus course after my scholarship has been awarded?
If you successfully petition for a late change of registration (after week 4 of the term) and either add an Ecampus course or switch sections of a currently enrolled course to an Ecampus section, please contact ecampus.ess@oregonstate.edu. We will take steps to adjust your scholarship amount accordingly.
