What does completing your degree mean to you? How do you feel it will improve your career, life, etc.?

Getting my Bachelor of Science is important to me because I am the first person in my family in two generations to complete a higher education degree. I feel that this degree will assist me with improving the environment that I live in. In addition, I hope to be able to make the world a better place for this generation and future generations.

Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?

Getting an education online allows me to accomplish my goals of higher education and a new career. If it weren't for online education I would not have been able to complete a bachelor's degree while maintaining my current job and lifestyle.

Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?

Bob Ehrhart, my original advisor, assisted me in determining the classes I could take from my local community college prior to attending OSU. His assistance made my education both affordable and feasible. Without the assistance of good advisors, I would not have been able to succeed in completing my degree.
