What does completing your degree mean to you? How do you feel it will improve your life and career? By completing my Masters degree in Education, I believe my future role will be to mentor and encourage my students and others to further their education as well, and encourage them to realize their fullest potential. This step in my life has made me realize that anything is possible and I cannot go wrong by investing in myself, personally or professionally.

Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?  I chose to complete my degree through OSU because I was very much interested in adult education as that is the field I currenlty teach in.  I admit, I was apprehensive at first because I tend to learn better in the classroom, but I was pleasantly surprised how easy this process was but I still like the classroom setting.  I also liked the fact this program did not interfere with my employment as I do teach at night and several other programs are offered one night a week.

Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student? In the beginning, I was apprehensive of my abilities and whether I should be in this program.  I kind of felt I was suffering from the "imposter syndrome."  However, Jennifer Webster reassured me I was here for a reason and thanks to her, I am glad I stuck with it because am I now reaching my destination — graduation.

What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before? I believe with more practice, I will be able to write curriculum, do continued research on topics I am passionate about, become a better leader and person, and I am hopeful my degree will take me to an open organization of employment, that will allow me to develop and implement my instructional ideas and suggestions.
