What does earning your OSU degree mean to you?
Earning my degree has earned me bragging rights. I would not just be the daughter of a man and a woman with a Ph.D., who decided to stop going to school. I will not be the black sheep of my family. Earning my degree makes it easier to aim higher for a master’s.

Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Ecampus? What did you enjoy about this method of education?
I chose to complete my degree through OSU Ecampus because of the flexibility. I have a sick family member I am taking care of and taking years off just did not seem like a good idea. I probably would just have given up going to school altogether had I not found the perfect school match.

Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?
Monica Hubbard. I think I might have contacted her like a thousand times through emails mostly, because most times I was not even in the country. She always replied promptly and always found a solution.

What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
I haven't fully explored the benefits of my degree, but I do know now especially after getting the bachelor’s degree that I don't want to stop here. I want to go further.
