Curriculum
The coursework in Oregon State University’s online special education graduate certificate prepares you to advocate for all students, foster equitable learning environments and make an impact on the lives of diverse K-12 learners. You’ll also explore relevant policies, laws, rights and regulations while exploring diverse learning pedagogy and effective strategies for supporting students of historically marginalized identities.

- ED 578 – Special Education Law Rights and Regulations (3)
- ED 548 – Teaching Inclusive Classrooms (2)
- ED 555 – Intersectionality of Marginalized Identities (3)
Elective courses (7-9 credits)
Select a minimum of 7 credits from the following courses:
- COUN 538 – Supporting Diverse Populations in K-12 Schools (3)
- ED 554 – Supporting Students on the Autism Spectrum in K-12 Settings (3)
