Becoming a force for mental health and emotional well-being starts with understanding how people grow, struggle and thrive within families and communities. You can learn how professionals support individuals across the lifespan in Oregon State University’s introduction to human services online microcredential — a program that explores foundational concepts in human development, emotional health and social systems. 

Learn real-world prevention and intervention strategies used in professional human services settings, and develop the skills to begin or advance your career in community health, counseling, behavioral health and related fields. You’ll gain practical knowledge of social systems that enables you to contribute to efforts that support mental health, emotional resilience and stronger communities from the inside out.
