The Collaborative Higher Education Research (CHEdR) Group aims to connect researchers who are interested in topics related to online teaching and learning. The group meets quarterly via Zoom to discuss a question of interest to the group, and also communicates regularly via a Google group.
Questions of interest to the CHEdR community include:
- What research needs to be conducted regarding online teaching and learning?
- What are some best practices for disseminating research and communicating results?
- What are ways to integrate research on online teaching and learning into practice?
- How are research units/teams devoted to online teaching and learning research structured?
- What are our systems for research and analysis at the institutional level, in terms of data collection and infrastructure?
- How do we show the value of research on online teaching and learning and the worth of our work?
To join the Google group and receive invitations to quarterly discussions, email Dr. Mary Ellen Dello Stritto, director of research for Oregon State Ecampus.
