ANTH 352 – Anthropology, Health, and Environment (3)

Engages medical and environmental anthropology research to critically explore the values, meanings and ideologies associated with ecological and public health issues in given localities throughout the world. Drawing on theory from relevant literature and ethnographic case studies from around the world (including North America, Latin America, Africa, Oceania, and China), covers key topics related to how people are affected by, and respond to, environmental change. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
