COMM 388 – Social Media and Interpersonal Relationships (3)

Examines how individuals build and maintain close relationships through new media and social networks. Currently, scholars are seeing a shift in how individuals self-report building close relationships, as people use elements of new media more and more frequently. Designed to look into the similarities and differences of these relationships as compared to face-to-face relationships. CROSSLISTED as COMM 388/NMC 388. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
