GEOG 541 – The World's Water (3)

Investigate why water is a critical resource that supports life, livelihoods, and the environment. Understand that where rivers crosses political boundaries, the sharing of water presents challenges and opportunities. Interpret how international basins are governed; Evaluate how dams and water development affect ecology and people; and apply water conflict management frameworks to emerging international water issues. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
