HEST 562 – System Dynamics Modeling for Humanitarian Engineering (3)

Introduces an accessible and practical framework for applying participatory system dynamics modeling to navigate the complexity of humanitarian engineering, projects and programs. Techniques highlighted include stakeholder-centric group model building, cross-impact analysis, causal loop diagramming, and stock and flow modeling. Culminates in a team project focused on a real-world global engineering intervention, where the team must model factors and subsystems that influence project success. This course may be subject to Enforced Prerequisites that restrict registration into the course. Check the offerings below for more information.
