Michele Maxwell

If you're thinking about completing your degree, Michele Maxwell, a recent distance grad has some advice. "Just go for it. I just finished my degree taking OSU distance courses in Bend and it was a great experience."

Michele was taking a math course for teachers at Central Oregon Community College when she learned about the program and talked to advisors about a Liberal Studies degree that would lead to teaching.

"When I realized I could stay in Bend and earn my degree, I decided to pursue it. I really liked the flexibility of Web classes since I was juggling work and school."
