What does completing your degree mean to you? How do you feel it will improve your life and career?
Completing my degree opens opportunities for jobs in the community college setting and the business world. The classes I have taken have already improved my career by giving me skills in teaching, designing curriculum and organizing myself in the world.
Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?
I more than like this method of teaching, I love it. I am so happy that I am able to participate in a classroom setting while taking a lot of the work with me to practice and develop, all while receiving help from my fellow cohort members online.
I like the cohort method because we were able to bond and support each other while having similar learning experience.
Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?
Instructor Jennifer Webster has been very supportive. Her encouragement has kept me going in this program.
What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
My degree will allow me to apply for various administrative and teaching positions in community colleges, universities and businesses. Also, it helps me to become a well-educated member of society.
