Matthew Webber – Enjoying the spoils of the future
B.S. Liberal Studies
Boise, Idaho
What does completing your degree mean to you? How do you feel it will improve your life and career?
I feel that earning a bachelor's degree will benefit me both personally and professionally, and my family and I would be proud of the accomplishment. Being able to put on my résumé that I have completed my bachelor's degree, for me, is a dream come true.
Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?
One of the main reasons I chose Oregon State was because of the quality educational programs and the excellent and comprehensive support that I would receive at Extended Campus. I have a strong passion for learning and believe online classes are the future of education.
Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?
Kelly Kneece, my liberal studies advisor, made the registration process so easy. I never had to worry about anything.
What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
I believe that in order for me to accomplish my professional goals I would need an educational foundation of at least a bachelor’s degree. I enjoyed the experience at OSU Ecampus, and I plan on getting a master’s degree, most likely online.
