Interested in politics and policy local and abroad?

The OSU Political Science program investigates topics from local politics and American government fundamentals to ethics and international relations, giving the student a broad range of knowledge and perspectives. The Ecampus Political Science degree is also a perfect starting point for those interested in continuing to law school.

As a Political Science major, you will:

• Learn from experienced OSU faculty in the only online Political Science degree with extensive coursework in environmental politics and policy.
• Have the opportunity to supplement your degree with one of our 12 online minors, including Business & Entrepreneurship and U.S. History.
• Develop skills for Careers in areas such as local, state and national government, international affairs, political consulting, non profit sectors and law.

Completing a Political Science Degree through Ecampus

The Political Science online degree program is accessible for you to complete through OSU Extended Campus (Ecampus). Participants in the Ecampus Political Science major can choose to work toward a Bachelor of Art OR a Bachelor of Science. 

As populations continue to become more connected and interdependent, graduates of the Ecampus online degree in Political Science students will be prepared to encounter these complex issues and address them in an ethical and dedicated manner. The broad-based curriculum covers the major subfields of political science including American politics, comparative politics, international relations, political theory and research methods.
