What does earning your OSU degree mean to you?
Earning a degree from OSU means I get to fulfill a lifelong dream of a career in natural resources, while knowing I received quality education.
Why did you choose to complete your degree online through OSU Extended Campus? What did you like about this method of education?
I chose to complete my degree through OSU Ecampus, because I am unable to relocate to Corvallis and the Ecampus program offered me an opportunity to obtain a degree. I really enjoyed the freedom of Ecampus classes; I am able to attend class when it is convenient to me.
Did you have an instructor or advisor who was influential in helping you succeed as a distance student?
I really appreciated Dr. Robert Ehrhart's willingness to ensure his students have the information necessary to obtain employment and further their careers. He also makes learning class material easy, and I found his classes essential to my education.
What will your Ecampus degree allow you to do that you were unable to do before?
I feel the responsibility and time management skills required for Ecampus classes has provided me with great life skills that will be beneficial to any career. Ecampus classes have also enabled me to work out problems without turning to others for advice, which giving me the confidence to address any problem head-on.
