Oregon State University ranked #1 for Best Online Liberal Arts Colleges

Oregon State is the best university in the nation when it comes to delivering a high-quality liberal arts education online, according to a newly published ranking. College Choice put Oregon State atop its list of the 25 Best Online Liberal Arts Colleges. OSU offers more than 20 liberal arts degree and certificate programs online.

“After searching for Buddhist and Hindu scholars across colleges in Oregon, I came across Oregon State University Ecampus and a class on Gandhi and non-violence, a topic not only captivating, but relevant to our times. Ecampus ranked #1 in U.S. for online liberal arts education

Oregon State is the best university in the nation when it comes to delivering a high-quality liberal arts education online, according to a new ranking released last month. Oregon State’s College of Liberal Arts offers 11 bachelor’s degrees and two master’s programs online through OSU Ecampus, the university’s distance education division.

Oregon State University’s oldest graduate, 74-year-old Jerry Kight, earned his degree in liberal studies online through Oregon State Ecampus. “I’m proud of myself and my wife for helping me do this and encouraging me to do it, and my kids, also,” Jerry says.

With a baby girl on the way in his native Hawaii, Shiloah Teo put his campus-based studies at Oregon State on hold and returned home to take care of his family. Thankfully, Oregon State Ecampus allowed him to finish his liberal studies degree requirements online. His first trip back to Corvallis was to receive his OSU diploma — with his daughter and family by his side.
