Oregon State University will host an in-person commencement ceremony this spring, and we want you and the rest of the OSU Ecampus graduating Class of 2024 to join the festivities.
OSU Ecampus will host a reception on the Corvallis campus on the morning of commencement.

Earning a degree online is already a feat of strength, balancing priorities like a juggler riding a unicycle on a tightrope. Even more amazing — while the whole world faced unprecedented challenges, you never stopped moving forward.

You are here, today, representing the unique communities and cultures that make you you. Many of you are the first in your families to earn a college degree. Even more of you learned while on active duty or as military veterans. Others bring generations of wisdom older than Oregon State itself as part of our vibrant and growing Indigenous student population.
You are working parents, small business owners, volunteers and leaders in your neighborhood, city or tribe. And together, what makes each of you unique has combined to create one of the most diverse graduating classes ever at Oregon State.

Where should I park on campus for commencement?
With thousands of graduates and guests planning to attend commencement, we highly recommend that you review the campus parking and shuttle maps before arriving.
Where can I find information on accessibility accommodations?
If you are a graduate with disabilities who may need accommodations at the commencement ceremony, please respond to this survey by 11:59 p.m. PT on June 5. After June 5, contact Mike Jefferis directly for assistance. The OSU commencement website has additional details on accessibility accommodations.
Will my name be called at the main commencement ceremony or Ecampus reception?
Doctoral candidates walk across the commencement stage when their names are read as part of the ceremony. Master’s and undergraduate candidates are acknowledged separately as groups with standing ovations. Names will not be read at the Ecampus reception.
What’s the agenda for the Ecampus graduation reception?
There is no formal schedule of events. We hope you’ll mingle with instructors, advisors and other Ecampus students and relax before the main commencement ceremony. We’ll have a few remarks from Ecampus leadership around 8:15 a.m.
Will food be served at the Ecampus reception?
Yes, we’ll serve breakfast-type foods that include vegetarian and gluten-free options and plenty of beverages.
