Oregon State Ecampus offers colleges and faculty a high level of support to develop new online programs that meet the needs of students worldwide. Developing online programs requires a large investment of resources and time. We strive to ensure proposed programs have sufficient student demand and align with Oregon State’s mission and strategic plan.
Consideration factors for new online programs
Faculty members in proposed programs should be available to collaborate extensively with Ecampus instructional designers to develop high-quality online courses that meet Ecampus Essentials design standards. Faculty also should be prepared to facilitate courses guided by the Ecampus Online Teaching Principles.
Full undergraduate and graduate degree programs and other programs with high market demand or enrollment potential are prioritized for online development.
