Your student success team

The Ecampus student success team is comprised of student services, success navigators, success coaching, student engagement, and exam proctoring.

Student services representatives

We offer:

  1. Support for immediate concerns
    • Registration questions
    • Instructor-student issues
  2. Guidance around OSU processes, procedures and resources
    • Appeals (including tuition refund)
    • Petitions
    • Change of major forms
    • Course overrides
  3. Employer-sponsored student support

Our student services representatives meet the needs of students by providing quick answers and support for immediate student concerns. We can help you navigate your student experience by walking students through the many processes within the university. We help with things like change of major forms, overrides, questions regarding resources, registration concerns, liaison with student accounts, petitions, tuition refund appeals and facilitation of instructor-student issues.

Meet the Ecampus success navigators, Aaron Worley and Alex Martino.

Success navigators support students as they navigate the onboarding and orientation process with Ecampus. We can help you access and learn how to use university systems confidently, connect with your advisor, discuss your next steps in the onboarding process, and share success resources. Navigators support all Ecampus students once they are admitted to OSU through their first year.

Success coaching

We offer:

  1. Short- and long-term support for specific outcomes
  2. Self-reflection to clarify goals/outcomes
  3. Thought-provoking conversations to reframe and overcome obstacles
  4. Help defining success for you
  5. Personal development

Success coaches work in partnership with students to maximize capacities, utilize resources, and develop new understanding. This service is available to all Ecampus students. Success coaches are committed to working with the specific needs of the Ecampus student population. We are trained to listen and ask thought-provoking questions to promote self-reflection and to support students in planning for success. We are available for short- and long-term support throughout your time with Ecampus.

Undergraduate degree-seeking students also have access to support resources and tips for success through the Ecampus Learning Community Canvas site. Students are invited to this site once they have been registered for their first courses through Ecampus.

Meet the student engagement program manager, Eddie Rodriguez.

Our Student Engagement Program Manager collaborates with students and campus partners to enhance access to involvement and belonging opportunities. Whether you’re interested in student clubs, undergraduate research, the Ecampus Student Advisory Board, or have ideas to improve online student engagement, we’re here to help.

Exam proctoring

Tay McEdwards

Meet the proctoring manager, Tay McEdwards.

Some of your distance courses require you to take proctored exams. Your instructor will indicate this requirement via the course catalog, course syllabus, a Canvas announcement or an email. Not all of your courses may require proctored exams.
