Revenue sharing
The Ecampus revenue share model provides colleges and academic departments with a portion of the tuition revenue generated by enrollment in each credit course. The academic department directly hires and pays course instructors who have been approved by the department. In addition, a portion of the funds generated by the student credit hours is distributed each academic year in relation to enrollment in Ecampus courses.
For details on the revenue sharing breakdown and how it impacts your department, please contact Shannon Riggs, executive director of academic programs and learning innovation.
Research and professional development grants
OSU Ecampus supports the research, development and scholarship efforts of faculty and/or departments in the area of distance/online education, including hybrid delivery combination of online and face-to-face instruction. Learn more about submitting a research grant request for proposal and examples of research funded by these grants.
