    Oregon State Ecampus stands in support of students facing difficulty in their lives and works to ensure connection to university support services and resources designed to help during a crisis and beyond. The university has a number of extremely dedicated offices and staff who work with students, regardless of location, to help manage challenges of various kinds.

  • Anytime Anywhere: Telus Health Student Support
    Students have access to free and confidential mental health and wellness counseling at any time of day, from anywhere in the world, 365 days a year. Students can connect with counselors in real time by calling or using the chat function.

  • Bias incident
    The Bias Response Team communicates and meets regularly to respond to bias incidents.

  • Ecampus Hardship Grant
    The Ecampus Hardship Grant is available to assist online students who are experiencing unexpected financial hardship that interferes with academic progress. This funding is being provided to help ensure that Ecampus students with demonstrated financial need are able to continue their education at OSU.

  • Find your local food bank
    The Feeding America nationwide network of food banks and food programs helps millions of people find food and grocery help in their communities every year. Connect with your local food bank to learn about upcoming free food distributions and to apply for national food programs like SNAP and WIC.

  • Mental health support
    CAPS provides you with a number of online resources as well as personal intake services to help you identify one-on-one counselor, support groups, and access to other services. CAPS’ offerings are designed to enhance all Ecampus students’ mental wellness through self-help, peer-to-peer support, a Happiness class online and several wellness apps. If you have an immediate need to talk to a mental health counselor or in a crisis, please contact CAPS at 541-737-2131 (option 1 if you are calling after hours).

  • Report student misconduct
    SCCS upholds the expectations of student behavior by responding to reports of student behavior that disrupts the on and off-campus learning-living environment.

  • Sexual violence support
    CAPE Survivor Advocacy provides free and confidential resources and support for Ecampus students who have experienced sexual assault, dating or domestic violence, stalking, harassment, or bullying. Resources include academic mitigation strategies, safety planning, information about reporting to OSU and local Law Enforcement, financial and housing support, as well as an online support group, Circle of Support, that meets via Zoom during the Fall, Winter, and Spring terms.

    The Office of Advocacy supports students in conflict within the university, including formal processes.

    Student care works with students who experience unexpected life events such as personal crises, illness or injury, hospitalization, loss of a loved one, and mental health challenges.

  • GRE website
    This site offers free software and free subject test practice booklets to assist students preparing for the GRE test.

  • Oregon State ID cards
    OSU identification cards are optional for Ecampus students. If you plan on using higher education facilities throughout the nation or wish to receive student discounts, it could be beneficial to have one. The ID Center will mail non-photo ID cards to admitted OSU students.

  • OSU Beavers athletics
    Find the latest news, team schedules, videos, statistics and more on Oregon State athletics. Following the Beavers is a great way to connect with the OSU community from a distance.

  • Recreational Sports
    Ecampus students have access to OSU Recreational Sports facilities and programs through a special membership for distance learners.

  • Student conduct and community standards
    Become familiar with Oregon State's student conduct philosophy, definitions of academic dishonesty and tactics for conflict resolution.

    OSU's Student Health Services offers Ecampus students some resources that can help you lead a healthier lifestyle. Services include medical advice, self-assessments and other health information.
