First-year students

As a student with fewer than 24 quarter (16 semester) transferable credits from an accredited institution, you’ll experience a wide range of exciting learning opportunities online with Oregon State University as you build a career.

Application deadlines

Oregon State admits new students in each of our four quarterly terms. We encourage undergraduate degree-seeking students to apply by the suggested deadlines listed on this page. Your application is considered complete when you have submitted the online application and any required supplemental materials, such as your transcripts, as well as paid the application fee.

Why are our suggested application deadlines earlier than Oregon State’s final application deadlines?
